Back Home
The moment that I stepped off of the train, I was engulfed in hugs and kisses from my family."Oh, Dawn!" my mother gushed "I'm so glad that you've survived, oh Dawn, oh Dawn!" She began to cry.
"Love you too mom." I smiled
My father hugged my tightly like he would never let go.
"Let's go see Victor's Village." I said and we went to go see our new home.

Tristan and I stood in front of our houses.
They were HUGE and had beautiful gardens in front of them.
We'd chosen houses next door to each other.
After many hours of work, we'd finally gotten most of our houses set up.
We'd had a LOT of help from people the Capitol had sent.
As we stood back and admired our homes a thought crossed my mind.
Why not tell Tristan I love him now?
It was as good a time as any.
I turned to Tristan about to speak when he began to talk.
"I guess now we only have to act like we're in love for the cameras I guess.
You're a pretty good acting!" Tristan said.
I swear, my heart shattered into a million pieces.
I tried to swallow past a lump in my throat.
"Uh-Um-Er- right." I managed.
Suddenly I couldn't take it anymore.
Tears streamed down my face and I turned to look at Tristan.
I ran into my house and into my bedroom.
I collapsed on my bed and sobbed uncontrollably.
My mother came into my room and comforted me.
My father came up too.
There was a knock at the door and my father went to go get it.
I heard the door open.
"Hello Mr.Moonstone, I was with Dawn and we were talking.
Well I said something about us not having to pretend to be in love except for the cameras." Tristan began speaking.
"Yes, and?" My father said.
"Well, she just ran off crying and-" Tristan got cut-off
"You BROKE my daughter's heart Tristan. Go leave, she doesn't want to see you.
Come back later, but for now just leave her be." my father responded curtly and slammed the door.
He was right, Tristan did break my heart.
