Nov 12- Snow!

Hi! I can't believe what happened today!
Ok so it started to unexpectedly snow in the morning.
Since it was unexpected I had to go find my hats mittens and scarfs basket where we have all our outside winter clothing.
I looked everywhere try to find them.
I don't want to be late!
Oliver is never late. To be honest he is always there waiting for me.
When I finally find the basket I quickly get ready to walk.
I see Oliver waiting for me again.
He greets me with a big smile.
I blush a little and notice that he is not wearing a hat or mittens.
"Why are you not wearing a hat? It's cold..." I say.
He blushes a little and says "I did not have anytime. I did not want to be late.."
"Oh" I say. He skipped putting on a hat and mittens because he did not was to be late?
"Wait a sec" I say putting my backpack in the floor. I zip it up and give him my extra hat I packed.
"T-thanks..." He says nervously and takes the grey hat.
"No problem!" I say with a big smile. "Hey we better get on going"
We talk about random stuff as usual until Oliver says,
"Hey there something I want to tell you at lunch... Meet me at the back table in the cafeteria"
I nod wondering what he wants to tell me.
During class I stare at the clock waiting for the clock to show 12:00 so that it will be lunch.
These couple of seconds are the hardest to wait for...
When the bell finally rings I get quickly ready for lunch, still wondering what Oliver wants to tell me.
When I get there he is sitting at the back table like he said.
He motions me to sit down beside him and I do.
"Hey um... There is something I want to tell you..." He says really nervously.
"Um... I would like to thank you..." He says blushing a lot. "I would like to thank you because um... In my other school I was bullied a lot because I was shy and I used to go to a private school. I never talked to anyone there because I never knew anyone so when I went to grade 8 not in a private school. I never really knew what to say to people and... I was bullied because of it. My so called 'friends' talked behind my back. I told my parents about this at the beginning of this year because the bullies went to my school so I moved schools. The new school was ok. But then I had to move houses because of my dads job... And now I am in this school. So... I would like to thank you... For...for..."
He looks down blushing like crazy and I notice that his hands are shaking a little.
"For..being my first real friend..." He mumbles.
I can't believe what he just said.
Speechless I put my hand on his trembling hands.
He looked at me and I smile.
He looks so happy a tear falls down his cheek but he quickly wipes it away.
"Your welcome." I say nice and proudly.
We pause for a while until we start talking again about random stuff.
Oliver looks a lot relived for the rest of the lunch.
And the ending of lunch when the bell rings for next period I ask him,
"Hey do you want to meet me at the park after school tomorrow?"
His eyes grew wide. "Sure!" He said happily.
When I was walking to my next period I ran in to Cassie, my best friend.
"Hey long time no see Katie! Anne has been telling me about you walking to school and talking to Oliver. Why won't you sit with us at the lunch table?"
"Sure! Can Oliver sit with us too?"
"Sure if he does not mind. Anyways since we have not talked in forever I was thinking, do you want to come over to my house? The best day that works for me is tomorrow."
"Oh." I say. I am suppose to meet Oliver that day. "I will see if that days works for me"
"Ok! Well I have to go to class see ya!" And Cassie ran off.
After school when I was walking with Oliver I told him about what Cassie said.
"Oh" he said sounding a little hurt. "Well what about in two days will that work?
"Ok sure!"
When we where walking it started to snow again.
At the ending of our walk Oliver gave back my hat that I landed to him.
"I will not forget to bring my own hat tomorrow!" He exclaimed while waving.
