Nov. 11- Lunch

Hi! Lots happened today!
Ok so when me and Oliver where walking to school we where talking how crazy it is that people are talking about Christmas shopping when it's November.
There is a Christmas concert at out school and everyone is going crazy for it.
Each club can do something for the concert if they want to.
The anime club decided to do a drawing on a big canvas about Christmas.
We start planning though like in December.
They just wanted to know what club is going to present early for some reason.
Anyways since Oliver is kind of an otaku I told him to join.
But he does not really want to.
He wants to join a club but he is to shy to.
It's too bad that he is not in any of my classes...
We are becoming really great friends!
When we where walking something that Oliver said cought my attention.
"Uh, Katie there is something I need to tell you...-" he started.
"RINGGGG" said the annoying old bell at our school.
"Hum?... What is it?" I said
"Oh never mind I will tell you it later!" He said.
What did he want to tell me?
That he wants to join the anime club?
Or something more important?
Ugh! I hate you bell!
Anyways everyday I meet Oliver at lunch.
He always smiles and I have never seen him upset before.
Even when I was late walking to school and he was standing in the rain he still smiled.
Ah when ever I think of that I start to feel bad...
Anyways I explained that my sister is hogging the I pad today (mainly because I forgot about telling him the other days...)
"Maybe there is a reason why your parents are acting the way they are. Maybe your sister is going through something at school? You should talk about them and if the answer is personal, you don't need to tell me it" he said sounding happy for some reason.
Maybe he is happy that I can trust him asking something like this? Or he just likes giving advice?
"Oh ok I will ask them! Thanks for the advice my friend!" I said smiling.
I think I saw him blush a little when I said 'friend' or that was just my imagination.
Anyways when I was going to the washroom I ran into Anne.
"Hey Katie! Why do you never meet us at the lunch table anymore?" She asked. She looked a little bit sad.
"Oh I am talking to my friend Oliver! We walk together to school and we talk at lunch. He is pretty nice!" I said.
Anne blushed again when I said his name.
"Oh... Oliver? He is in my class. He is extremely shy and never talks to anyone. But when ever someone talks to him, he is gets really nervous and timid. People are surprise that he actually talks to you." She said.
"Oh." I say a little bit confused. I knew he was shy but I never knew his was this shy that he did not even talk to people.
"Yeah..." She says waiting a bit. "Well I have to go now to class see ya!" And Anne ran off.
When me and Oliver where walking back to school I told him what Anne said in the hallways.
He just stared down at the floor nervously.
After a while he finally looked up at me blushing. "I dunno, I just feel so calm around you and I don't know why..."
That comment made be blush a little too.
"Well... Thanks I guess.." I mumbled.
I don't know if he heard me or not because he continued to stare at the floor.
"I wanted to tell you that when we walked to school but I guess I was a little bit nervous...."
"Oh ok!" I said smiling.
After that we went back to talking about random stuff like usual.
I asked my parents why my sister was acting like she was and I was surprise by there answer:
"Huh? You mean you don't know? Your sister just got braces. But there not normal braces there called speed braces. They hurt twice or even three times as much as normal braces but they work faster. The I pad gets her mind off of it. It will only be for a month darling. It will be ok."
Wow I can't believe I never knew that!
I guess now I understand why she never finished eating her food completely.
But that still does not change the fact that I can't watch anime for a month.
I will survive! My goal is to survive!
Yeah!
Anyways that's all that happened today!
