Eternity Zero

Eternity Zero

Here's a story Wrote for an English project. The paragraphing and indents are kind of inconsistent, with the copy and pasting on Qfeast, and it wasn't originally in chapters, so they're kind of short. But my teacher liked it, sooo...enjoy!

Chapter 8

“That, in itself, is not enough for us to reveal ourselves to you,” gulped Aeden, “The other reason is, well, the pixi-”
“Ghuh! Pixies!” muttered Eaden. “Tiny bodies, tiny minds.”
“Well,” continued the blue, “They’re very forgetful. The thing is, they forgot to-”
“They forgot to tell us when you were born!” exclaimed the purple.
“Which means we don’t know when you start to turn.”
“Which means we don’t know when the Unseelie start looking for you.”
        “Which means we-”
“Okay!” yelled Kai “You’re giving more questions than answers! Why are you acting as if this isn’t a big deal! What are the Unseelie! How do you know I’m the last of the Immortus, or whatever?”
“Aeturnus. And it was foretold by The Archer, duh!”
        Killian simply fumed.
Iobar joined in; “The Unseelie are basically the evil side of the magic realm. They’re the bad guys. Like those people in the alley who followed you onto the rooftops.”
I could be here forever, thought Killian. “What did happen on the rooftops?”
“Well,” replied the wizard, “I’d say they were Sins. they embody humanity’s worst crimes. There a seven types; rage, greed, lust, pride, envy, sloth, and gluttony. I’m pretty sure the one in white was a rage, and the fat one was gluttony.”
“And Al?”
“The fire dancer? I think you would know.”
“Greed. But that still doesn’t tell me why you're acting as if this was everyday.”
“Well, all things must come to an end.”
Killian gave him a weird look. “Alright. So, again, what is this place.”
Eaden butted in again. “Ye Olde Alchemy Shoppe. Located in the luscious london sewage system. Favorite of witches and ghouls everywhere.”
"Ugh," said Iobar, "I own it."
Kai looked again at the room. He figured it was the back room. There was a window to the right, but it showed only a view of the slimy wall. This was the sewers. He felt he was good enough to get up. Against the protests of Iobar, he was quickly on his feet. black spots danced before his eyes.
“So, I’m already dead.”
“Yep,” said Eaden, “The only thing to do is keep you out of the clutches of the Unseelie.”
“Oh, um, guys” said Aeden nervously, “I may have neglected to tell you this, but they’ve zeroed in on our location. They should be here within half an hour.”
