Airion, the book, and Topaz

AIRION'S POV

That's when I passed out. Almost. "Magic..." I asked. The old dude started cracking up hysterically again. Dawn arched her eyebrows and poked the man. That's when he got all serious and stared straight inti my eyes. His eyes where now neon purple and kinda creepy. "Hehehehe!" He cackled. Amethyst and I exchanged nervous looks. Then the man scrambled into a dirty closet and brought out a small fat book. "This explains all." He said, shoving it into my face. "What's it about?" I asked. "Stuff." Mumbled the man. I shrugged and almost opened the book when Amethyst snatched it from me. "Not so fast..." She murmured. She made a fireball and smashed it into the book. "No!" I almost said. That was the first book I'd seen since I had been chosen. Purple writing appeared on the book and quickly disappeared. "Magic." Zane said. I nodded. A small dragon made of all four elements appeared and circled around all of us. The. It vanished. I grabbed the book and opened it. Suddenly I appeared in a field. No one else was there. Then I heard a voice. "I didn't mean to! It was an accident!" Yelled a girls voice. She ran towards me, but ran right through me. "Come back!" Screamed a man. He was wearing Elementor clothing. He shot a water spike at her back and she fell down. Then her eyes turned bright purple and she turned releasing a neon purple flame and the Elementor fell down. The girl looked around and started panicking. "What have I done?" She exclaimed. She started crying. Then a boy came running and saw the Elementor. " Topaz... You killed him!" Screamed the boy. The rest of the Elementors came in running. "You... You used your power for murder!" They yelled. "It's not my fault! It was an accident!" Topaz screamed. Topaz's  eyes shifted back to their regular color. A light blue that I had seen before... I don't remember where. "Take away her powers!" Screamed the Earth elementor. "But— we never use that—" Started the Fire Elementor. "DO IT!" Screamed the Earth Elementor. "And get her out of here!" Topaz looked at her brother sorrowfully, but he looked back as if disappointed in her. Topaz cried. I woke up on the floor. Everyone was staring at me. "What..." I started. "Uh... You passed out." Zane said. I only knew one thing. Topaz. Those light blue eyes... "Amethyst." I moaned. I knew one thing. Topaz, the girl seen... She was a magic controller, like me, but also... She was also my mother. No one else had those eyes.
