What I see

I start crying harder and gasp as I see Jae. He is sitting in a short, uncomfortable chair. His hair is even messier than usual. He is hunched over protecting his vulnerable stomach. But he can't use his hands or legs as they are both tied to the chair. And there are three large guys standing menacingly behind him. But besides the obvious water in his eyes from the pain, he looks relatively calm. The other man/boy behind me grabs my hair again. "What was in the room before this? Tell me now or else the boy gets it!" I shake my head side to side but he only pulls harder upward, which finally forces me to my feet. I desperately look at Jae and he softly shakes his head "no". I don't know if he means "no, don't fight, just tell them!" or "no, don't say it!" ... I'm so confused! "I don't know! Please! Stop!" I guess the male behind me gave some sort of cue because the three large men all shift at once. The one in the middle grabbed the back of the chair and Jaeze's hair, pulling it down toward the ground. The other two took turns kicking him in the shins. He couldn't even defend himself. "Okay!" I screamed! The three immediately stopped, returned to their post and stared at their boss. "Good, you are difficult aren't you?" I didn't say anything. "Aren't you?" He said more forcefully, "Yes, I'm sorry! Please stop!" "Good. So what did you see? Who is this boy in front of you?"

Lie? Tell the truth? Or, do a very risky thing.

"Ill' make you a deal. You don't hurt him. I'll-I'll give you information." I glared at the ground ashamed of myself. Jaeze yelled so loudly I wanted to cover my ears. I was hurting him more! "Don't! Alex, do you hear me? Don't!" One of the guys stepped forward and pressed his finger behind Jaeze's ear. Pressure point. It silenced him. Jae was in pain. Emotional and physical. And there wasn't a thing I could do.

"Outside this room is a woman guarded by three armed men. Now please, let us go!"

"Good. How about we add to your little deal?"
