Head Quarters
........We go through it and it feels as if a train had hammered me in the stomach........I see stone walls everywhere, a wooden desk in front of me, and a stern looking woman sitting at it, reading some important-looking papers. "This is Colonel-" Jaeze started. But I interrupted him. With a loud gasp. Just as Jaeze had started to talk, someone threw a fabric over my eyes from behind me. "Massandra. Hey! Your fine! I swear, Alex. Listen to me, okay?" I calm down and probe the blindfold with my fingers. "Okay. I think. I trust you. But what's the blindfold for? I really want to take it off." I whisper. "I know, and I'm sorry. It's standard protocol." He slipped his hand into mine and I almost gasp again. He guides me through the room. I think I can hear him open another door.
We go through it and it feels as if a train had hammered me in the stomach.
My hands shoot over my middle and my knees buckle. I fall to the hard, stone floor, my eyes watering. I cry out loud and finally settle into a whimper. But I know better than to take off my blindfold. I hear scuffling, several yelps of pain and more sickening sounds of bone against flesh. Jaeze's, yelps for pain. I groan and try to gain breath. I feel like passing out. I can't see. My blood is pounding so hard I can't hear anything. I'm afraid to say anything.
"Sit up," a commanding, deep voice says. I can't tell if he is talking to me or Jaeze so I lay still on the floor. "Now! I mean it!" I gasp again as pain shoots through my body. This time my ponytail is pulled backwards so that my face is tilted toward the ceiling.
"Okay!" I cry. I awkwardly prop myself on my hands.
"What did you see-" He tries to say, but Jaeze screams "Don't s-" I hear a terrible gagging sound, another yell of agony matched with what sounds like a fist against a body. The man tries again. "I'm going to ask once more. What did you see right before you entered this room?"
"I don't know anything! I swear! Please, stop! Don't hurt him!" I feel sick. Not only can I barely breathe but if I keep lying then Jaeze with be suffering more and more. I don't know what to do! The blindfold is roughly ripped off of my face but I still can't see. it is so dim in the room it takes a second for my eyes to adjust. What I see makes me want to throw the fabric back over my eyes.........
(WARNING: next chapter is very visual, it describes physical pain, don't read if you have a VERY weak stomach or get nightmares easily!!!!!!)
