1. A Movie, A Note, A Sister, A Boy

1. A Movie, A Note, A Sister, A Boy I roll my eyes as I sit on the hard cement steps of the theater. I steal another glance at my watch. 9:15. Shouldn't the movie be over by now? I sigh, get up, and stretch my long legs. I walk along the block, turn at the corner and come back. A figure is coming towards me, at the corner of the other side of the block. I mentally guess it's a guy. I can't really tell because of the fog. I continue toward him, towards the theater, and we eventually pass each other, and I can tell he is probably 16, maybe 17 years old, and kind of cute. He has shaggy blonde hair with the brown underneath. It was long enough to cover his eyebrows. He is even wearing a plain, dirty grey sweatshirt with rough looking jeans. I like his style! I reach the theater and sit back down on the steps. I look back for the boy, but he is already gone. Instead, I see a small package is on the side walk. I pick it up, and run towards the corner to give it back to him. It has to be his. We are all alone on the street. When I reach the corner, I don't see him, and I finally look down at the package. It is more of a small envelope, but more interestingly, it has my name on the front of it, printed so I can't identify any handwriting."Alexandra L Rogers". The doors of the theater open and I step to the side to avoid the crowd. I see my older half sister, Alice Sanders, at the back of the crowd, her studded skinny jeans perfectly accenting her curves, and her lightly sequined, bright blue top making her look like a model. I head over to her nice up car. I slip the envelope into the pocket of my bulky winter coat and hope it doesn't bulge too much. I try to open up the passenger door but it's locked, I look up expectantly at Alice, and she unlocks it, but she isn't moving from the bottom of the steps. She isn't coming towards the car. She's talking to the cute, running-back for the football team, Jake. I climb into the car, throw my hands into my sweatshirt's pockets to keep somewhat warm. I don't even know why I came. I hate scary movies. That was why I was sitting outside in the first place. Within half an hour, the move Horrors of the Past got too gruesome for me. Yet my older sister Alice, doesn't even flinch. She lazily leans back while chewing on her favorite candy- Mike-n-Ike's. Jake is telling a Alice a story and she is flirting with him, twisting her dirty blonde hair and laughing. Probably telling him how funny or brave he is. I hiss to my self in annoyance. This could take forever! I honk the horn of the car, and she rolls her eyes at me. The parking lot is practically empty now. It's almost 10 o'clock! Alice finally leaves Jake, and joins me in the car, glaring at me.
