Shopping Failure

After the date with Dakota, he is all I want to think about. I actually started thinking of going to prom. So, today David and me were going prom shopping. Since Kim is all over Zero, I decided to stop communicating with her. So, even though I needed a girl to go with me, David decided to take me. Mother gave me the debit card and told me to pick my favorite one.

Arriving at the dress shop, I looked around at the tons of girls trying on dresses with such excitement. I had my hair in two pony tails on the top of my head with a white ribbon wrapped around my the pony tails.  Walking up to the lady, David asked for a room for her to change in. The lady smiled at David and introduced us to the last open changing room in the entire store.

Sitting in the changing room, I let David pick out the dresses that would look good on me. While I was waiting, I started to text Dakota.

"Well we made it." (My text)
"Does it look exciting?" (Dakota text)
"It looks fun, but I wish he would hurry up to get this over with." (My text)
"Lol. Have you though about who you going with?" (Dakota text)
"I'm not sure. Maybe this guy I like ;)." (My text)
"Well do I know him? If I do, he better treat my girl right?" (Dakota text)
"Your girl? Am I missing something?" (My text)
"I'm just saying better be done in a hour, or I will come hunt you down ;)" (Dakota text)

With that last text, I heard David slamming on the door passing me three dresses. "These are my top three dresses!" David told me as I heard his footsteps walk away from me.

Looking at the red and pink dresses, I hated the thought of wearing them, but when I saw the blue one, it felt like I was looking at Dakota. My heart bested, and I loved it. Putting it on, it's beautiful blue ruffs went down to my knees as the short dress was beautiful. Even though it was sleeveless, it had a little about of sleeves but no much with hardly any sparkles.

Spinning around, I felt this dress was the one. Walking out, I saw David's brown eyes light up as I stood in front of him. David appeared speechless.

"Well what do you think?" I asked spinning around in it. I felt like a princess, so I was really hoping he loved it.

"Well, I think you look gorgeous, Little Bit!" David smiled and pointed a thumbs up at me.

"Oh, come on. Do I really look good?" I smiled at him.

"Yes. You really do. Dakota will love it!" David said running towards me with his phone. "Let's take a selfie!" Pulling the camera up in front of us, David and me smiled large as he snapped a picture. I'm not sure why, but David and I did not take a picture is so long. I missed how close we used to be. I had to change it.

"Hey, David. Let's do something this weekend. You, me and Dakota if you want." I looked at him and smiled. David looked at me a little confused, and then his brown eyes lightened up so a happy brighter expression.

"Of course! We can do anything!" He almost jumped off every wall in the building when I told him that.

"You do look great! It's two hundred dollars. You can come with me to pay it." The lady said escorting David to cash register.

As I stood there glaring at myself, I couldn't believe I was going to prom with a boy. Hearing my phone vibrant, I wanted to go check on Dakota, but I never felt so vain to stare at myself. Then, everything went to crap when I heard a voice.

"Look, at the beautiful girl in front of me." Turning around, Zero stared at me with just mischievous blue eyes. I felt like he was violating me with his eyes. We were the only people around.

"What are you doing here?" I said with a cold uncaring expression.

"I came to see the beautiful girl. I heard David talking about." Zero walked closer to me as I tried backing away. I couldn't run away. Dakota, please save me.

"Get away from me!" I yelled laying against the wall. Zero placed his hand against the wall by my face. We were so close to each other. Why is this happening? Zero did not make my heart beat at all.

His face grew close to my ear as his mouth pressed against it and whispered, "Does Dakota do this to you? Does he scare you, love?" I was so terrified I closed my eyes and couldn't open them. Please! Someone any one.. David..Dakota..

"Please. Get away from me.." I tried to get Zero to let go of me until he pulled me close to him.

"Why would I do that? I finally have you." Zero said wrapping his tongue around my ear. Why is Zero doing this? Please stop. I don't like this.

"Zero, stop!" I tried pushing him away, but he only grabbed my arm tighter to him. Why?! I didn't want this! I just want someone to save me. Am I alone? Will I never be saved? Zero. This is not who you used to be. You were so nice to me so kind. What have I done to you? Did I change you? Am I just getting the punishment I desire? Did I desire this? Tears starting to for on my eyes as I heard the voice roar through out the entire store.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!"
