Mobius High - Hayley's Story

The Truth: Does It Really Hurt?

"Hey Hayley, come in." Sonic lets me in his classroom, where the other teachers from last night also stand.
"Okay, I know I have some explaining to do," I start. "I'm sorry I never told you if you weren't already aware."
"Some of us were, but not all of us were told," Shadow replies.
"I thought Elise did," I say. "Clearly she didn't know who my teachers were."
"Yes, clearly that is the situation," Rouge adds. "So, care to tell us?"
"Or rather show." I clutch my staff tight and close my eyes.
I feel the energy surging through my body. When I open my eyes, I can not only feel it; I can see it.
It starts swirling at my boots first. I let my right hand hover above my boots, as they change to violet heels.
Next, the energy swirls around my Soulmaster robes. The neon pink colour brightens to a lilac, as it forms a beautiful, foot-length gown.
Now, for my hair. I brush my fingers through my hair, as the lilac colour fades to a beautiful blonde. And on my head now sits a silver tiara, with violet jewels.
They now see the true identity to me.
"So, who are you? Really?" Sonic asks.
"I," I begin "am Hayley Suntora. The Princess of Balenor. I came to Mobius seeking refuge from the Void, and I am eternally grateful that you gave it to me. That is something I cannot repay large enough. Thank you."
"We're all very grateful you chose us to seek refuge with," Miss Rose says.
"I can tell. But now I ask of your help," I reply. "With the Void closing in, it'll take more than just my strength to overcome Yaros. Please, I need your help."
Sonic walks towards me first. "I'll help you, Hayley," he says.
Shadow and Miss Rose step forward too. "Count us in," Shadow says.
Then Rouge. "I'm in."
We then hear another voice from the door. "What's going on?"
"Hey Silver," Sonic says.
"Hi Sonic. Who's this?" Silver asks, looking in my direction.
"I'm Hayley," I say.
"Oh, yes I know you. What's going on anyway?"
"I need your help in taking down the Void," I tell him. "Before it's too late."
"Well, I'm sure my psycho-kinesis can help in this. Count me in, Hayley."
I smile at the teachers around me.
"So that's it," I say. "The fate of two worlds are in our hands."
Balenor, and Mobius.
And it's up to us to keep them safe.
To defeat the Void.
