Mobius High - Hayley's Story

The Dauntless Mobians

The next day, I'm once again wearing my disguise of my leather boots and my Soulmaster robe, both neon pink, and my lilac hair.
"Hayley! Hayley! Hey!" I hear Justine calling.
"Hey Justine, what's up?" I ask.
"Nothing much," she says. "I want you to meet my friends, Nicki and Dani."
"Hi Hayley," Nicki says.
"Hey Hayley," Dani adds.
"Us three run our own gang together," Justine explains. "We call ourselves the Dauntless Mobians, because we used to be human, and we were living in factions. So we decided to bring the faction Dauntless to Mobius. Us three are the faction leaders."
"Dauntless rules state you have to have an odd number of leaders," Nicki adds. "Also, we're allowed to accept new members into our faction."
"But only if they prove their bravery," Dani then says.
"You up for it? You might be able to join."
I waste no time in saying, "Bring it!"

The entire gang of the Dauntless Mobians are running through the streets, with Justine, Nicki and Dani at the front. This is so amazing! How they were able to form their own group/faction is just... amazing!
"This is where we climb!" Justine shouts, as everyone climbs up onto a railway track.
We then hear the train approaching. As the first car passes, the others start jogging along beside it, which then turns into a sprint. I join in. And I just feel so free!
"Open the doors!" Nicki calls, as she presses a button. Every button has the same symbol: orange flames. Justine grabs onto my hand as I jump up onto the steps.
"Man, that was cool!" I say.
"Well, next stop is Mobius High," Dani says. "We're gonna jump out the train, then run to the entrance!"
"Will it stop?" I ask.
"The train never stops," Nicki says. "Otherwise there's no bravery in it. Just cowardice."

I see Mobius High as the train approaches the front entrance.
"Get ready!" Justine shouts, as we all line up on the wall opposite the doors. One by one they start to jump out.
"Together Hayley?" Justine asks.
"Yeah, together," I reply. We join our hands, then run to the doors, and jump as far as we can. When we land on our feet, the entire gang run up to the entrance.
"Guess I was right about you Hayley," Justine asks. "You're one of us."
"But I'm not a Mobian," I say.
"Mobian or not, you've proved yourself Dauntless," Nicki says. "And we'd be happy to accept you into our gang."
"I'll have to think it over," I reply.
