Hayley VS Lightning

I've been dreading this day for so long now. And now that it's here, I can taste bile rising in my throat.
It's the tournament in our fighting lesson everyone's been talking about.
At lunch I sneak out back and create an illusion of a Voider to practice my physical skills with. But I knock it out within the first few minutes. If I can do that quite easily, the tournament should be no prob.
Or so I hope.

"Today's tournament will judge your skills and your bravery against one another," Shadow's voice booms out. "The first match of the first round is Evenstar against Jack."
My stomach twists. Jack is one to NEVER mess with. Everyone avoids him for his bad temper. Now Evenstar has to fight him. I hope she can pull through.
I watch each fight that I don't have to participate in. My first match was against a boy called Timothy. He's supposed to be strong, but I managed to take him down within 5 minutes.

"And now, the final match for 1st place: Lightning the Fox against Hayley Suntora."
Lightning and I step into the ring at either corner. And as the match begins, I hear people shouting.
"C'mon Lightning, make the human cry!"
"Bash the human, Lightning!"
But I block them out. I run towards Lightning and punch him in the face. He then kicks my stomach and tries to sweep me down, but I jump, and kick him mid-air, slamming him down to the ground.
"Come on Hayley!" I hear Rosalia shout.
And we keep fighting for 10 minutes straight, before I knock Lightning unconscious on the floor.
"Ladies and gentlemen, our fighting champion of the semester: Hayley Suntora!"
And surprisingly, my classmates whoop in joy.
