I can't believe this has just happened right now. Eggman's really gone too far this time. For all we know, poor Jackie might be dead. She does look like it, though. Lying so still, so motionless.
And I'm scared I've lost her forever.
I'm scared she'll never come back.

Jackie's body lies on a vintage table that Tails kept in storage for a few years. We all visit her everyday one at a time. And today's my turn to visit her. She's been presumed dead for at least a day now, and we're all worried sick for her. I wish I could've said good-bye to her before she left with the girls.
Sapphire stands by the door. She too is worried sick for Jackie.
"Sonic? You okay?"
"Yeah..." I really hope I can convince her I'm okay.
"You're not, are you? I can see it," she says. "You'll move on Sonic."
"No I won't," I shout. "Jackie was like... like she was..."
I turn round to see Jackie, and sit beside her on the edge of the table. Maybe if I hold her hand, she might wake up again. So I do. And...
Oh my God did I just see that? Her fingers twitched!
Or did I just imagine that?
I wait for any sign that she's still in there. But still, she lies motionless.
I dreamt it.
She really is gone.

I locked myself in my room the rest of the day. I couldn't let anyone see me cry. But I didn't cry.
But I feel like I should.
Or should I feel angry at Eggman?
Or both?
I let my head sink into my pillow, and bang my fist on the wall.
"SONIC!"
Alexis is by the door. I slowly get up and walk towards. "What?"
"It's Jackie! Come quick!"
What? No way!
We rush downstairs to the room where Jackie lies. Everyone else is there too.
I sit on the edge beside her again.
Please Jackie, please.
Don't leave us.
