Alexis the Hedgebat

Valentine's day.

Today was Valentine's day. Love spread through the air. I woke up and hit my head on my bunk bed. "Ow," I complained rubbing my head. "Hey Alexis want to come to the store with me?" Tails asked. "Yeah just let me get changed," I said. I got changed and walked out the door. "Let's go." Tails and I headed to the store and bought a cupcakes for everyone. I held on to the cupcakes as Tails started the plane. "It's so cool that you have your own plane, Tails," I complimented. "Thanks Alexis." Tails smiled and I walked into the plane and sat down. When we came back Knuckles was waiting for us outside. "Hi guys," Sonic said coming outside. "Hi Sonic," I said as the cupcakes hid my face. "Hi stack of cupcakes." I tripped on a rock and Sonic caught half the cupcakes while Tails helped me to my feet. I grabbed half the cupcakes as Tails opened the door. "Thanks again Tails." I walked in and bumped into Shadow. "Sorry Shadow," I said looking down embarressed. I smiled at him and placed the cupcakes on the table. I needed to meet up with Cupid and I looked for her number but I couldn't find it. "Oh dumb number where are you?" I asked rummaging through my files. I stayed still and heard Cupid's voice on a phone. "So you like Alexis?" She asked. "Who like me?" I questioned. "Can you just hit her with an arrow?" "Well first why don't you find out if she likes you." The phone was silent for a moment. "Okay," The person replied and hung up. Knuckles came up to me. "Hey Alexis, happy Valentine's day," He said handing me a diamond necklace. "Knuckles you didn't have to," I said blushing as I put it on. "Thanks Knuckles," I said blushing as Sonic and Shadow came behind me. "Hey Alexis I wanted to-" Sonic stopped and hid something behind his back as he saw the necklace. "Who got you that?" I pointed to Knuckles and he blushed. "Wow Knux I didn't even know you had feelings." Knuckles growled and I giggled. I walked into the kitchen and got a cupcake after Silver. Silver and I went upstairs and were taking a bunch of selfies. "We're so awesome," Silver said. "Yep we rule," I said taking a bite of my vanilla cupcake with red frosting. We both stared at the pictures and laughed. I stopped laughing and frowned. "What's wrong?" I stared at the ground. "I just wish I could've met my parents." Silver patted my shoulder. Tails came up shaking a little. "A-Alexis, Shadow wants to see you," Tails said stammering. I looked and saw he had a punch mark on his arm. I growled and saw Shadow smiling at me. "Did you hurt Tails?" I asked. He stayed silent for a moment. "Here," Shadow said handing me a white rose. "T-thanks?" I said not sure of what to do. "Want to come to the firework show with me?" Shadow asked. "I'm going also," Sonic called. Shadow growled. "Sure." Later that night Sonic, Shadow, and I decided to go at nine. We saw a bunch of fireworks in different colors and shapes. When we came back I smiled as Sonic handed me a boquet of roses. "Aw thanks Sonic," I said holding the boquet. "Alexis were going to the water park tomorrow," Tails said. "Well I'm going to sleep night," I said waving and going up stairs.
