I shoot up when i hear footsteps but then i realize its only cato and marvel discussing things. ''What are u talking about?'' i say standing up. '' were discussing to get that boy from district 3 and tell him to help us by rewiring the bombs on the pedalstone so we can guard our supplies'' says marvel picking up his spears. ''And if anyone trys to steal them they will explode?'' i say putting on my boots. ''Yeah, something like that'' says cato smiling at me. i smile back. ''One thing, how are we going to find him he could be anywhere?'' i say stopping marvel and cato. ''We will split up'' says marvel chucking his spears at trees for practice. ''Alright i will head over there'' i say pointing to the corn field were we saw thresh running around. ''see you all later'' says cato. As i walk around in the corn field the sun starts burning my face and lots of sweat poures down my face when i bump into the district 3 kid. ''Hey you'' i say pulling him. ''Join up with us or die'' i say holding up my knife. ''Okay'' he says staring at my knife. in the distance i see marvel and cato running up to us. ''Got him'' i say smiling. ''Hes joining'' i say putting my knife back in my pocket. ''Right, lets tell him the plan'' says cato pulling him and telling him everything. ''Think you can do it?'' i hear cato say. ''yes'' he says. ''Well get to work then'' says cato pushing him to the pedalstone's. ''Right, we all have a job aswell'' says cato. ''What?'' i say rolling my eyes. ''We need to pile up our supplies'' he says picking up backpacks. ''Okay'' i say helping him. After a few hours were done. i sit down on a pile of grass and close my eyes when marvel shakes me. ''Look, fire!'' he says jumping up and done looking for his spears. ''Lets go'' says cato. ''Oh and guard the pyramid'' says cato pointing at the district 3 boy. As we run through the woods we reach the place where the fire was lit. i stop and take a breath. No one is there. Mabye they are hiding from us. No no one is here. i look up at cato who looks angry. ''Its fake'' says marvel chucking a rock at the fire. ''Why dont we set up traps and trap tributes?'' says marvel pulling out ropes from his backpack. Cato nodds and we split up setting up traps everywhere we think tributes will come. as i sit down and feel the soft green grass i hear a massive boom. it wasnt a cannon thats for sure. i sit up and start running back to the cornucopia where i see our supplies are blown up. i wanted to scream but i knew we would get sponsors for sure now. Cato comes back fuming. ''HOW DARE YOU!'' he says shouting at the district 3 kid. ''I TOLD YOU TO KEEP GUARD'' he says slamming his sword on the floor. Then he picked up the boy and twists his neck. ''calm down'' i hear marvel say to cato. Cato just kneels down on the floor. ''The person who did it must of died?'' i say tapping catos shoulder. ''Yeah shes right'' says marvel sitting down next to cato. ''Remember the traps we put up, tributes could of got caught lets go look for them okay?'' said marvel standing up picking up catos sword for him. cato sits up and nodds. As we split up i dont find anything in the traps. i hear a cannon in the distance. who is it now? i run back to the cornucopia when i hear some bad news.........
