DING! Finally, school was out. Alex hurried down the hall into the computer lab. It was her first time in Newspaper club. There wasn't one at her old school, so Alex grabbed the new opportunity. The newspaper club teacher got to business right away. "OK, what do you guys want to do for the Newspaper?""News articles," said Kevin.
"Polls, and lots of them!" exclaimed Cece.
"Puzzles and recipes," recited Sam.
"I'll interview the lunch lady to find out what she puts in the mystery meat," said Caroline.
"I guess I'll do an advice column." said Alex. She couldn't think of anything else! What else was there, really?
"Everyone has a job. Get to work," said the newspaper teacher. Kevin went off to explore for news. Cece started typing up poll choices. Sam looked up recipe ideas. Caroline went to go find the lunch lady. Alex slumped down in her seat. What now?
