Sacred
I looked at the ruined school, and the big, bulging red letters "THE LIGHTBINDER RETURNS" "that's what that one guy called me" I muttered under my breath. "What was that?" I heard Principle Roy say as he walked toward me. hes was a tall, strong guy, black hair, and the voice that could scare the grim reaper himself. "What did you say, boy?" "Uh-uhm" I was starting to stammer "Whats wrong Jake?" my sister asked, tugging my jacket sleeve. "Roy, we got a bit of a problem" said one of the staff, hastily walking toward us. "What else is new?". he led me and my sister with them. and the staff lady pointed to a small pile of rubble, starting to move. Out from underneath, crawled a boy, about my age. he seemed familiar., but i couldnt exactly put my finger on where i had seen him before. "W-where am I?" he asked, he sounded worried. i then realized he was wearing the same pendant that this "D" guy had given me. "WHERE D YOU GET THAT?" i said, pointing at the necklace. the boy remained silent. i could have sworn i had seen his face somewhere before. "Jake, leave him alone." said my sister. "But-" i then stopped myself, realizing that if i said anything, i might be linked with the burning, and i couldn't tell my sister, shes the biggest blabber-mouth that ever lived. I had to talk to someone I could trust, and I knew just the person- My best friend TrevorYes I know its not the BEST idea to go running to your best friend with a deadly secret, but Trevor's always been there, never told a secret, never kept him from helping. He's also the smartest person I know, so if anyone knows anything, it will be him.
I pushed my way through the large crowd of students gathered around the ruined school, but I couldn't find him anywhere, but I did find his little brother, Jaedon. "He's home sick" he said.what a time to be sick. I pulled out what I thought would be my phone to try to cal him, but I then realized the impact from the bus crash shattered it. The touch screen was in fragments. I started to run home, but something stopped me. I had the feeling I had forgotten something. Quickly, I check my pockets, getting a few cuts from the extra shattered glass, I panicked. The note that I got from"D" was the only thing in there, and it was gone. "Something not right here." I thought to myself. I grabbed my sister and Trevor's brother, and got on one of the buses taking the student home, thankfully there was one that went close enough to my neighborhood that I could walk a block to take my little sister home. I then walked with jaedon to his house. When I knocked o. The door, his mom was supposed, so I explained what had happened with the school, and how is like to talk to Trevor about it. So she let me In. I walked upstairs and to Trevor's room, knocked on the door, and he, as well, was surprised to see me. So I told him to sit down, and told him the story.
Wow, you went through all that? He said, taking the pendant as I handed it to him, he looks at it closely, and gasped. "I didn't think that they were real..." "what is it?" I asked he remained silent. I snapped and he became back t earth "Oh, its an omarian pearl... a legendary stone - part of a set of nine, that gives the wearer special powers. So do you have any idea as to who this D guy is? "No, but thats not all it gave me." I held out my hand. "Silver-Bane." There was a flash of light, and I was holding the silver blade that had saved my life less than two hours ago. And Trevor remained breathless. "What did they call you again? Light Binder? You're the Sacred Swordsman!"
