Redtail raced through the forest, until she saw it in front of her. The waterfall was making the river rise, and Redtail didn't think she'd make it across.of course Starclan wouldn't help her, she was disobeying the warrior code in 2 different ways. Starclan would kill her if she jumped, but she had to go see Echoheart, so she prayed to Silverpelt, and made a leap of faith. she leapt gracefully over the river, and she had made it across. she went on running to see Echoheart, and she felt that if love can find a way, she would live through this.
She finally approached Echoheart's home by the tree, as a loner, he had to fend for himself, he had caught a large hawk to share with Redtail. Echoheart, mewed Redtail, as she went over to share tongues with her mate. I missed you, mewed Echoheart. are you okay are you hurt, hungry, did you miss me? Gasped Redtail, I am fine thank you Redtail, mewed Echoheart, his grey-blue pelt flowing in the wind. as Redtail got up, she realized that she flt heavier, slower all of a sudden, was it the hawk?
she thought. Redtail looked down to see her belly swollen, not a sickness, but kits. Redtail was going to have kits. Echoheart was excited, but he knew he had to go to Thunderclan tonight. Redtail and Echoheart slowly padded home, their happiness made the sun see brighter, and when they arrived in camp, Jaggedstar allowed Echoheart to stay forever as a loyal warrior. Other cats didn't like Echoheart, His clan is a fool, it has been defeated, abandoned! Deception! Shouted Sandclaw. Disgrace! Hissed Tailfeather. He's evil, he's a spy! Growled Snowblossom.
