She called Friskpelt, the clan medicine cat in to see if she was really dead. she was, and Mapleleaf, her sister buried her while Redtail addressed the clan. Jaggedstar, has died, so I am your leader now. Cats began to cry and cheer at the same time. Redtail was  Redstar, she would get her 9 lives later, and she had to choose a deputy. Echoheart had no apprentice, so she could not choose him. Her friend Snowblossom was a good fighter, so Redstar yowled, the new deputy is... Snowblossom! Snowblossom looked so happy, her brother Tigerclaw was angry, he had come back with better feedback. But not many cats trusted Tigerclaw, anyway, Friskpelt and her apprentice Leafpaw took Redstar to the Moonpool to receive her 9 lives. As she lowered her head to the pool, a surge took over her, she was surrounded by 9 cats, and they began to speak to her.
