His visit
Antonia P.O.VI gave the piece of paper to my dad. He read while I just kept staring out the window. Please say no! Please! I know America! But I didn't want to go with Cihan. I do have a crush on him but I just don't like the idea of being in a room with someone who I never talked to. Why couldn't it be another boy like Manuel or Niko. I knew them and they were funny but Cihan, I had no clue. "Wow. A trip to America. Isn't that what you've always wanted." He smiled, his eyes lighting up. "Yeah dad." He grabbed a pen and signed it. "Seriously?" I exclaimed. "What? You've always wanted to go to America, now is your chance." "But don't you like the idea that I'll be in the same room as another boy who's two years older than me?" "Antonia, he's a nice boy. He won't try anything okay? I trust him." What? He trusts the bad boy? Great. "But you don't even know him!" "I've talked to his parents. They're friendly and nice people. Now go pack and tell Riccardo to give me his paper so I can sign it?" "Whatever dad." I muttered. I opened the bedroom door and saw my brother on his computer. Typical. Whenever he had the time, he would always play a game like Minecraft or LOL (League of Legends) while talking to his friend Alex. Alex was the fattest person in our class. He was also very tall, sometimes the boys would tease him but in a friendly way. "Dad says you have to give him your paper." He shook his head. "No I'm not going." I sighed. Always this. Whenever we had an excursion, he'd never want to go. I just ignored him and opened my cupboard. I picked out clothes and then put them on my bed. "You're really going?" He asked. "Yeah, dad signed. Besides, I've always wanted to go to America. It won't be that bad." I faked a smile and walked out. "Dad, I'm going down to the cellar!" I shouted. I grabbed his keys and went down. I opened the door to the cellars and I was freaked out. It was always so cold and dark down here so I would always get scared. I quickly took my suitcase out before heading back up. I was carrying it when I suddenly slipped. I waited for the pain but nothing came. I opened my eyes to see Cihan holding me and his parents watching and then sighing in relief. I thanked him and he smiled. "Oh but what are you doing here?" I asked. (They're supposed to be speaking German but you guys wouldn't understand a thing so I just wrote it in English.) "Your dad invited us over." Screw him, I thought. "Cool. Follow me." Cihan helped me carry my suitcase while his parents just kept whispering to themselves. We finally arrived and I knocked on the door. Our little flat was on the second last floor which was all the way up and there were no lifts (elevators, whatever you guys say!). My dad opened and greeted them in. He and his parents followed my dad in the living room and I quickly ran to the room. Of course I didn't need to run that much since our flat was small. It had only two bedrooms which meant I was sharing one with my brother. My dad had the little room which he never cleans and we got the big room. The living room wasn't so big and the kitchen was small. The toilet and bathroom were separated and we had a small balcony which we rarely went to. I noticed that our room wasn't so dirty so I smiled, happy that our room didn't look to bad. I then heard a knock on the door and went to open it. "Hi." He said, towering me. He wasn't so tall but he was definitely bigger than me. "Hi." I answered nervously and let him in. "Small flat." He said short and flat. "Yeah." He looked at the clothes laid out on my bed. "Cute underwear." He whispered in my ear so my brother couldn't hear. I blushed a bit before covering my underwear with other shirts. "Hey." My brother said. Cihan smiled at him and turned back to me. "So? I'd like to talk to you about the project." I nodded and took him to my Dad's room so that my brother wouldn't hear or disturb us. I closed the window so my dad wouldn't listen to our conversation. "So what would you like to talk about?" I asked. "Who's gonna write the journal?" He asked. I didn't really understand him but I'm probably guessing that he asked who was gonna write the journal. "I am. You can just chill." I smiled nervously. "No, I also have to work." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "You never want to work." I say quietly. "But now I want to." This was crazy. He'd usually do nothing and talk with his friends and if there was homework, he'd just copy. "I have an idea. Why don't you take photos of the places we've been to?" He nodded. I looked at the ground. I hate this silence. It was so awkward. "Cihan!" I heard a female voice shout. He looked at me before leaving. "Bye." He left and I just sat there, thinking. "Hey Toni. I talked to his parents and they don't have a problem with you being in the same room. They told me that they told Cihan to give you some privacy when you need it. I kissed his cheek and thanked him. He went away and I saw a message from my mom. "Knock knock." I laughed in my mind. "Who's there?" I replied. "Momma bear." "What's up?" "Nothing much. Heard you're going to America. Are you excited?" "Yeah." I answered and added a smiley face. "That's great but I'm not liking the idea that you have to room with a boy." "Yeah me neither but dad talked to his parents and made sure that if I needed privacy, he'd leave." "Ok but no funny business." "Yeah mom, I love you xxx" "I love you too xxx gotta go, good night, sweet dreams xxx" "bye, sweet dreams xxx" I smiled and checked Qfeast out. Nothing much has happened so I signed out and read my fan fictions. Now you're probably wondering why my mom texts me on Skype and why she doesn't live with us. The truth is she works in Madagascar so we don't really see her that much but every two months, we would either go to visit her or she would come here. I loved my mom and just hoped one day she could live with us. My dad and mom kinda separated but he still lets her live with him when she comes to visit which I like. At least they don't hate each other, at least they were still friends. After finishing the chapter, I saw a notification from Skype so I checked it out. Cihan. "Hey Toni, lets chat." I accepted him as a friend and replied. "I don't really have time sorry." "It's ok, heard you didn't have Facebook cause you aren't 13 yet so made a Skype account." I kinda smiled at his comment and told him goodbye. Well this was going well. Never in a million years would I have thought that he and I would finally be friends and talk to each other. I did a happy jump and went to eat dinner.
