Holidays

In This Chapter I Will Talk About Japanese Holidays. Holidays In Japan Include Holidays We Celabrate Today And Others Sush Japanese Festavials. I A Going To Start With Tanabata, The Japanese Star Festival.

Tanabata, Is The Japanese Star Festival. It Is Celabrated On The 7th Day Of The 7th Month Each Year, Because According To Chinese Legend, On That Day Two Stars Named Altair And Vega Are Able To Meet. These Two Stars Are Normally Seperated By The Milky Way. In Some Japanese Regions, Tanabata Is Celabrated On Augest 7th Instead Of July 7th. One Of Tanabata's Tradions Is To Write Your Wishes On A Piece Of Paper And Hang It On A Bamboo Tree And Hope They Come True.  <---- I Like That One.

Some Japanese Families Celabrates Chrismas! One Thing The Japanese Do On Chrismas Is Eat Chrismas Cake, Which Is Sponge Cake With Whipped Cream And Strawberries On Top. Most Other Things Done On Japanese Chrismas Are About The Same As People In America.

   Valentines Day And Whites Day.
We All Know Valentines Day As Boys And Girls Give Candy And Chocolates To Each Other But In Japan It's Differant. On Valentines Day Women Give Men Chocolates. But On Whites Day Men Give Women Chocolates And Cakes
