Chapter 10
Goerge P.O.V chapter:The dark haired boy, Richard, is now in hospital. Because of me. Great. Wanna know something else? (That was rhetorical btw) Now I've found out that Katherine has gone back home. Great! FUCKING GREAT! I managed to rent out a hotel room and now I'm staying in this cramped room for the night. Picking up a can of lager and making sure I have mints for tomorrow, I switch on the T.V. Jeremy Kyle- Man that shows old- WTF, IS THAT KATHERINE ON THE TELLY? My eyes wander over her, she's changed so much. Her hair has grown longer, her lips riper, eyes bluer and bigger, she's gone prettier, if possible. A chuckle forms in my throat, she's wearing make up for once, she never wears it, she doesn't need it. I feel a great surge of longing and tears prick in my eyes. Fuck this. Your a dude, dude's don't cry. My eyes wander to the bottom of the screen, where it says in white writing...
YOUR MY TWIN AND YOU'RE THE GIRL MY HUSBAND CHEATED ON ME WITH
Katherine P.O.V
Bright light's shine me in the face and I make a mental check if I look good. The stylists over here are really good. They managed to transform me. My blue eyes are outlined in thick layers of kohl, making them almost pop and look big on my skinny face. My lips are painted with red lipstick and they had dabbed bronzer on my cheeks before spritzing some hair glitter into my loose hair. I'm wearing a turquoise mermaid dress which hugs my skinny figure. My eyes wander over to Lea. Her almond eyes are also outlined in kohl, but grey kohl. Her eyes look warmer but mine look fiercer. Her hair has been piled into a neat beehive and she's wearing a mini white rara dress.
"So Katherine..." Jeremy Kyle shoves the microphone in my face. "This dress is really tight, can I change?" The audience groan as Jeremy Kyle yells, "CUT! CUT!" Great. Tape 2#- "So Katherine..." "So Jeremy..." The audience laugh. Jeremy cracks me a smile, he seems like a nice person, although he looks a bit older in real life. "What happened on the night of your wedding day?" A lump forms in my throat. "Well I-I-" A sob escapes my mouth. "I can't do this!" I think they're gonna cut me again, but they don't. "Aww's" and "Ahh's" fall from the audience.
Jeremy sits on the chair next to me, and places his hand on mine. "Are you alright?" I can't form any words, and I'm afraid my tears will smudge my kohl. He turns to Lea, "And how does this make you feel? Staring at your sister cry because of you and a selfish husband." The audience cheer and Lea shouts to them, "Shut up! Let me speak!" They boo her loudly. Satisfaction fills up inside me. Jeremy holds the microphone up to his mouth. "Got attitude, aint you?" Lea puts her head in her hands, "She won't let me explain what happened!" WHAT? 'She' has a name, bitch!
Outraged, I stand up. "What is their to explain? Tell me right here right now your excuse." Jeremy gestures at me to sit down but he too looks curiously at Lea. "There's only one person that can explain this. Goerge, I know your watching this. Get your ass over here and explain!" The audience, "Oooooh." The thought of Goerge coming here makes my stomach turn over. Everything is a roar in my ears and I can barely hear Jeremy say, "Join us next week for the arrival of Goerge Gregson, tune in after the break as married mother of two Ella Reid accuses her husband of abuse."
Shaking, I make my way off stage. Lea rushes up behind me and she places her manicured hand on my bare shoulder. I slap her fair and square in the face. It's a reflex. Her cheek is flaming red. Good. "I- I just wanted to say sorry?" Camera men surround us as they shout to each other. "Go go go! Did you get that on camera?" "You think sorry cuts it? I loved him Lea. You barely said a word to him through out all our childhood. It was him and me. But you just had to barge in." Tears leak down my face. "Not that it was only you. That Goerge arrogant, big-headed stereotype had something to do with it as well! Look- have him. Your just as bad as each other!" I don't care if the camera-men are filming me now, right now I don't care about anything.
