The day I finished my last final exam my friend Kristin and I started our drive up state. We both attended school in lower New York and had an eight hour drive ahead of us. Before beginning we decided to split the driving in half, I was to take the first part, she the second half.I’ve always been someone who can function well even without days of sleep, so I ended up driving the whole way. As it was, when we got there my family had yet to return from picking up my younger sister who attended school out of state. So Kristin invited me to spend the night at her house, but I told her I needed to settle my things in at home.
