Chapter 8- Fire and Ice
Solus had a glass of water in his hand. I half expected him to do some kind of magic spell with it, and turn Johnathan back to normal. But instead he simply went up to him and poured it over his head. The gold dribbled off with the water as if it was painted on, and Jonathan gasped and coughed.
He was pale with a runny nose, red eyes, and he was shivering uncontrollably. I had to admit, he got what he deserved. He would be sick for a week, maybe two.
He took one look at Solus and growled, sneezing and pointing a shaky finger at him.
"y-your d-dead. I-I s-swear I-I'll b-beat you l-like t-the rest of y-your 'perfect' k-kind."
Everyone looked to Solus for his answer. He smirked, then smiled. He didn't look upset at all.
"Try me. Right now."
Jonathan hesitated, knowing he was outmatched even on a good day. Solus was calling his bluff, and he couldn't do it.
"g-go to h-hell." he turned and walked away. I should have let it go, it was Solus's business not mine, but instead I grinned and said
"He's an angel idiot. More likely he'll bring you to hell."
Jonathan stopped and turned to me, glaring with hatred.
"I w-wouldn't talk, t-the only r-reason you l-like t-that alien is c-cause y-you have n-no friends. y-your h-hoping that s-since your b-both freaks you c-can be b-besties or s-some shit."
Now I was really mad. I was just about to say a retort when Solus whispered.
"Let it go"
I hesitated. I wanted to fight him REALLY badly. Then I saw Solus's expression. He looked almost sad, as if he was used to this kind of thing. I sighed and mumbled under my breathe, still annoyed. My gut told me to listen to Solus. Even though he looks 14, he's really eight hundred and... dangit I forgot. 856? Yes, that's it. He's older then all of us combined. But does that make him any wiser?

Chapter 9 is done
After all, I am a whiz with quizzes
Susie went on a walk across See More the park. Suddenly--
The word 'suddenly' adds suspense, and makes you want to know what happens next. You read on, often quicker, to match the pace of the story.
When your ending a chapter, put something that finishes your thought, yet has potential to open up the next chapter. I'm not sure how to make an example of this, so just look at the last sentence or words at the end of my chapters. It SHOULD make you think, make you wonder, what is going to happen next. Or even make some theories in your head for later in the book.
Out of curiosity, what do you think is going to happen next in my book?
@moonston
I hope I'm not confusing. that's one tip.
@moonston
For example, Ash (which can be a boy or a girl), has problems with their magic, and feels like Solus is kind and mysterious. She thinks he is powerful, but holding See More back.
In Solus's opinion (which I don't want to spoil anything so I'll be vague), doesn't feel right in the class. He is different, and everyone knows he's differernt, so he hides his secrets and thoughts well. In chapter 7, he starts taking more notice in Ash, cause she helped him.
@moonston
I'm really glad you like chapter 6, I wasn't sure about it
