Chapter 19- Sinner
Solus unwrapped the whip, and growled. This was more difficult then he thought. Just from that quick encounter he could sense that the demon has killed a angel before. He must have experience with this, while Solus never fought a demon before.'Focus.. he doesn't know your magic power. He can't defeat you if he's made of pure gold.'
Solus dodged a few slashes, getting minorly cut, then he swung his sword and managed to slice a small cut in Alex's arm. Deep almost black blood dripped from the wound.
Alex smiled coldly, and Solus narrowed his eyes. Solus then hopped in the air, in front of the sun so Alex was forced to look at it. He hissed and rubbed his eyes.
Solus fell on him, slicing so that he would cut open his chest. Alex's eyes glowed black, and he suddenly shot a blast of dark magic at Solus. It hit him square in the chest and knocked him away, landing on his back.
Alex took this chance, and launched himself at Solus with his knife held high. Solus moved his wing in the way, and it got stabbed instead of his heart. Solus's eyes widened, and he froze. the tip of the knife made it through his wing, and a drop of hot golden blood splashed on his face. Where it got stabbed felt fiery hot. Then the pain suddenly registered and Solus cried out.
He flung Alex away, and the knife stuck into his wing. Solus got up, a little shaky. That had never happened before. He now knew that the metal in the knife, Angel metal they call it, could truly wreak some damage to his immortal body. The thought made him scared. He would get more then just bruises from this fight.
Alex got up and grinned at Solus's misfortune.
"Your young. Nowhere near old enough to be considered an adult. I bet you've never tasted the bite of angel metal bef--"
He was interrupted as Solus yanked the knife out of his wing. He looked at it, then glared at Alex with new determination. This was a threat he could not let live.
"Your a sinner, a liar, and a thief of power... Face me with all you've got."
Solus sounded determined, unbreakable as he stood there. Alex looked surprised, then laughed.
"Whatever you say, angel boy."
He raised his whip, fast enough that no-one could stop him in time. But Solus was faster. He threw the knife, hitting Alex's whip arm. Alex clutched his arm and took a step back, wincing. Before he could take out the knife Solus lunged at him, attacking with everything he got. Alex had to back away from the ferocious attack, saving his skin. Then when Solus got close enough he yanked out the knife and plunged it into Solus's stomach. Solus coughed out blood, and Alex ripped out the knife.
Solus didn't stop. That wound wouldn't get near killing him.
'It's just another bruise'
He punched Alex in the face, hitting him into the ground and making a few cracks break the soft earth. Solus glanced back at me, checking if I was ok.
He sighed in relief as he saw I was out of range. But he could sense my mind was tired and hurt. I needed to rest, in a safe place, but he didn't know where I lived.
'the only other option is my house. But it's--'
Alex kicked Solus down while he was distracted, and tried stabbing him in the chest. Solus put up his sword, blocking it. He used all his strength to keep the knife away. Then he tilted it so that the knife drove next to his arm instead, cutting it slightly. With both feet Solus kicked Alex away.
'I can't keep him away forever. I need to get out of here'
His chest ached where the dark magic blast hit him. He would be bruised for sure. Solus got up and ran to me, spreading his wings. Just before he got to me Alex threw his knife.. and hit him in the back. Solus stopped and cried out. He quickly flicked his wings where he judged the handle was and threw it out. His golden blood stained the blade.
Solus panted, both from running as well as from his wounds. They may not kill him, but they can sure make a guy feel fatigued.
"I need to end this" Solus mumbled to himself.

Chapter 9 is done
After all, I am a whiz with quizzes
Susie went on a walk across See More the park. Suddenly--
The word 'suddenly' adds suspense, and makes you want to know what happens next. You read on, often quicker, to match the pace of the story.
When your ending a chapter, put something that finishes your thought, yet has potential to open up the next chapter. I'm not sure how to make an example of this, so just look at the last sentence or words at the end of my chapters. It SHOULD make you think, make you wonder, what is going to happen next. Or even make some theories in your head for later in the book.
Out of curiosity, what do you think is going to happen next in my book?
@moonston
I hope I'm not confusing. that's one tip.
@moonston
For example, Ash (which can be a boy or a girl), has problems with their magic, and feels like Solus is kind and mysterious. She thinks he is powerful, but holding See More back.
In Solus's opinion (which I don't want to spoil anything so I'll be vague), doesn't feel right in the class. He is different, and everyone knows he's differernt, so he hides his secrets and thoughts well. In chapter 7, he starts taking more notice in Ash, cause she helped him.
@moonston
I'm really glad you like chapter 6, I wasn't sure about it
