One time, a few years ago, my family went on a trip to Chicago. We didn't stay long, and my sisters and mom spent most of the time in the hotel since we were just tagging along with dad for a business trip, but it was amazing. I had a blow-up mattress by the window, and we were on the 42nd floor. I remember staying up for hours after the rest of my family went to sleep, just watching the city below, lit up with people. It was an awesome feeling, seeing all of those people even See More so late at night walking like little ants over bridges and into taxis and down sidewalks. I would watch through the windows of nearby buildings with the lights on and see desks and offices and hotel bedrooms. I watched the river, and the boats on it. I watched the people. I watched the lights as some went out and some went on and the city glowed. Ever since the last night I witnessed that, I've been wishing I could someday go back. It was one of the happiest moments of my entire life.
