first of all Who The Heck buys a 200 dollar baby gate, but a whole summer is a little too much it should probably be 2 weeks with no electronics or friends... by the way up top for making it down on a laundry basket!

You shouldn't have to be grounded for the WHOLE summer, just take whatever costed $200 away from you, like your laptop or your $200 phone, then once they replace the $200 thing then you can have you $200 dollar thing back, and they explain that you shouldn't have slid down the stairs, firstly because of injuries, and second because you broke the baby gate. Parenting isn't hard, everyone knows how to raise children but the ones who have them smh.
