Is it okay to burn books? I'm just wondering if its okay to burn books i mean in my opinion its not, but very religious people burn books because they think its blasphemy i don't burn books but i know a lot of people do. So do you think its okay.

It's their choice.
I wouldn't want to, but that doesn't mean someone can't.
But it also depends on their reason behind the action- if the book depicts something classified as bad in society, then it would make more sense to burn it. That was done often in Medieval Europe. But if it's simply burning a book because you don't agree with the religion or aspect inside then definitely not. They would be wasting trees, money, and hard work.

no in my opinion it is not people worked for hours just to think of a story line i think i saw a movie where this happened.

Well I see no reason to unless you're trapped on an abandoned isle and all you have as firestarter is book paper :/
