girls not allowed? a boy's father in my class died many boys were allowed to go ALONE to his home after school. yesterday same happened to a girl but the teachers were not very keen to do so why do u think it is like this?

I guess its because boys like to be alone when they are emotional, I would be in the same situation if I where the teacher. Boys hate showing emotions infront of other people because it makes them feel weak, where girls cry no matter what.

It may have nothing to do with her gender. Maybe the boys going were closer to the boy's father than the girl

lets name the boy "x"
x's father died and the boys in our class were allowed to go and support him
after a week or so a girl's (lets name her "y") father died. although the girls from my class went the teachers were not very keen on it
my question is why is it like that?
