(This was just after I had moved school)
We had a history exam but I literally didn't know anything about what was in the exam so I explained it to the teacher, he said read a book or something and took away my exam and then I just well.. Slept. It was nice

Yes:
Your eyes get red and irritated, they sting, because you've been trying to force them to keep open. You can't let them close, else you'll definitely pass out.
It gets to the point where nothing but the fact "can't close eyelids" circulates your brain. You forget your surroundings. You forget what you have in your hands. You forget everything. Nothing registers...
So, you manage to stay with your chin up. This is what happens: you hallucinate. Your mind gets messed up. See More You start dreaming with your eyes open, kinda like you're drunk or sleep walking. This is dangerous because you mistake inanimate objects for other things if you catch my drift.
Or, you might simply give in to that overwhelming urge to just finally let your eyelids free. In that case, the end, you've passed out.

I speak from experience... Once, I slept standing up. In front of my church. In the stage, with the rest of the choir...
I've also slept on a daily basis all through first grade to seventh, slightly slept in eighth and am finally interested enough not to sleep through the ninth.
