I hate more than anything. Whenever anyone makes a sexist comment I'm practically at their throats.

I'm getting more and more angry every ****ing day because of the amount of ****ing sexism in ways we don't even realise.
So, we have our media crowing about our (the UK's) first Wimbledon win in 70 years! WRONG, it was our first win in 36 years, but no, that doesn't count BECAUSE IT WAS A WOMAN. And not only that, she wasn't skinny, or blonde, or had a nice figure, gasp! Never have I read such insults at a woman in Wimbledon, and all because her opponent was deemed prettier than See More her.
Then we get to TV adverts, if it's not some FEMALE moron sitting on a posh sofa eating ice cream/yoghurt/chocolate then it's a stay-at-home mum who's 'on top of the world' because she got a stain out of little Tommy's shirt, then it's some mumsy mum scolding her partner because he washed little Tommy's shirt without using the correct washing powder. STEREOTYPE ALERT! The woman is always doing the washing up adverts, whilst the men do the cool, humorous adverts...
All men see are big boobs and blonde hair. Don't have have big boobs? Never gonna get a boyfriend. Don't have blonde hair? Never gonna get a boyfriend. But we are here to prove the stereotypes wrong! We don't need men to lean on! We could become teachers, astronauts, anything! Do not let stereotypes bring you down! We can rise to be great, if you just believe!
Sorry for the rant X( it's just a subject I feel very strongly about. So, yeah, I'm with @Elleyd and @Wolvesareawesomelol on this one.

Well, I agree with your general statement but I'm just gonna stick up for the marketing companies: They aren't being sexist, they're being realistic and aiming their commercials at the audience who will be most interested. It's not about sexism, it's about what will sell their product. Also, guys aren't that shallow... That's just the movies. I am flat as a stick, See More dark short hair, and acne but I've had boyfriends. They aren't as bad as you make them out to seem... I'm just saying you're complaining about sexism then being sexist... Just saying don't be mad but don't be a hypocrite :)

Times change, sometimes it's the older generation who are more sexist since that was more normal when they were young. (Not EVERY old person, just some) Men and women are different, and it's not realistic to try make them out to be exactly alike, it's the whole point of having two different genders. It annoys me when people are sexist, it makes no sense to not be able to do anything or be stuck in a role just because of your gender.

Today I went to an agricultural fair
There was a lance display in which they had to take a hoop of a pole
Men:long metal lance, small hoop
Women: small wooden pole, large hoop
Sexist alert >:)

I find it that when women stereotype men it isn't sexism, but when men to it to women it is. same with racism, a white person can't make a joke about someones race that's colored without being a racist, but if colored races do the same thing its "standing up for themselves"
To a certain point yes, but there are people who are sexist on both sides.

Yeah, a lot of the time that's true. It's mainly in the west where that's a problem now

First off, it goes both ways. Some can even argue there is now more sexism against men than women. Anywho, just like all other prejudices and stereotypes, it should be eradicated as soon as possible because it is one of the most unfair, dumb, and selfish evils in the world.

I think that sexism is a view that should be eliminated and that people definitely shouldn't encourage no matter if it is just a joke or whatever else it may be
