How close am i to starting my period? Hey Guys!, I will tell you guys the signs of puberty i have got. But first this question is to ask if my Period is coming soon. Or in a couple of years. So please answer what you think. I've got tiny bits of blonde colored here down there... (but idk if its just normal like not a part of puberty until you get darker and thicker hair) I don't have armpit hair. But i have sweat there and it turns into muck and stuff.. (eew) I have starting growing breasts. I'm in sports bras. I think in 2 or 3 months i might ask my mum if i can have paded bras. Someone suggested them to me a while ago. I had one pimple on my face.. lol (prob not related..) I have pain down in my legs sometimes. I don't think i've had a growth spurt. I've got loads and i mean loads of discharge and i am going to get a liner soon. REALLY NEED ONE! I get discharge everyday.. mostly its a lot. But its everyday even if i get one spot of it. i need to go the toliet a lot more. I am nine turning ten on the 6th of feb. This year. :D I hope you can answer my question. I REALLY NEED HELP!?!!? when will i start my period please help me know. And also when to start getting pads. (or even tampons but i ain't so keen on the idea of them). Thanks! <3

you're too young to get it, I haven't gotten mine yet, but my mom's period came when she was 16, this is a question for your mom, she might have early or late puberty too.;)

I have the same type of signs, I'd guess u'd say, as u. People tell me different things but I'm not sure which is true. I' say ask your mum when she had hers. A friend told me that girls will probably have their period around the same time, or for some people a year before. My mam gave me a really good book explaining a lot of stuff I was confused about, so maybe go to ur local library and check it out. Good luck!!:)

Ok I'm ten this year and I've had the same signs except I have armpit hair and I've had lot if growth spurts but not any blood and I will explain tampons when you want to know
Lol, I think I'm capable of knowing what a tampon is.

You will probably get it very soon. The reason your having to pee a lot is because when your body is ready to start menstruating (getting your period) your uterus (where a baby will grow if you get pregnant and wear the blood comes from inside your body) started to get a little bigger and puts pressure on your. bladder. It's seems like you have all the symptoms too. Good Luck And Be Prepared! :)

wellllll..... the signs r there but I think its going to be a while be4 u get ur period...I mean if u have discharge a lot but u don't even have a growth spurt or have had one then ur not goin toget ur period for probably a while Id say a year or two. bc ive had a growth spurt but very little discharge so ya just wait those two years and if its still not there then just be patience bc u will get it

Yes i understand its a weird age to start my period. But i've read the daily news and stuff and it says you can get your period anywhere between the age of 7 to 17. So its worrying. But my mum said she'll get me pads when i turn ten :O
