I hate it, it's not fair to other ponies. They could have made the other 5 alicorns too, or at least do this list:
1. Make rainbow a Wonderbolt
2. Make Rarity the best designer in equestrian
3. Make Fluttershy queen of animals so she controls animal life.
4. Make Pinkie have everypony to step hoof in Equestria her friend.
5. Make applejack rich and sucsessful on sweet Apple Acres.

Twi deserves to be an alicorn. She stopped equestria from being night forever. She freed cadance out of the cave. Defeated the ursa minor. Cant u guys realize she deserves to be an alicorn? ;( :/

I really like the advance in the show, Twilight deserves to be an alicorn just as much as it makes sense that Celestia was training her! I'm only scared that now that she's a princess, she won't have time for her friends and the episodes will have less Twily in them :( It would be a good move on Hasbro's part to make the mane 6 equal again, what I mean is, carry out their life dreams, Bronies should know what I mean by that. Overall, I'm really excited to see what they do with See More this, who knows, we might get all new characters!! :-O We won't know for sure till Season 4, coming soon! :D

I would have preferred it if Twilight was just an Alicorn and not a princess.

I sort of hate it actually. I liked it when the Mane Six were equal- two earth ponies, two unicorns and two pegasi. But now the Mane Six balance is all messed up because of Twi being an Alicorn. I also really don't like the fact that she's a princess because in the first few episodes they gave you the impression that the Mane Six were all equal but now I feel that Hasbro is trying to convince people that Twilight is the best. It was a bit rushed as well, it didn't really fit in See More with the episode. Personally I think that they should of carried it out a bit more, perhaps over two episodes. Other then that I think it was a great way to end season three. I really love how Twilight Sparkle keeps her personality and how she hates her wings instead of them changing her into more of a princess. Wow this was long.

I don't like it I think it is totally ruining mlp fim

On one side, it's nice because it adds to the variety of the show. But on the other hand, she is now a 'princess,' the mane cast balance is messed up, and I just don't know what will happen next. So, all in all I think it was a negative change and that it would have been better if Twilight stayed an alicorn.:-&
