Does he ignore you as in you talk to him and he doesn't respond or as in he just doesn't talk to you? One is rude, the other is just him not noticing you.

Try slowly becoming friends with him. If you come off as normal, and nice then you will get to know each other and he might grow to like you. If you ease into a friendship, it'll work out.
