Can anyone tell me what I should do? So,i'm a really shy girl around strangers. And so I usually don't talk to grown ups alot.Well,my teacher,Miss Ferri, calls my mum up today and tells her that i'm not talking to her enough. So they give me this long lecture about talking to my teacher. But the truth is I don't feel comfortable talking to my teacher and sometimes I get nervous.I've told them this but they won't listen. What should I do?

Well you should just talk to your teacher and tell her that your nervous and I don't feel like talking right now and the teacher will understand everything.Go ahead.Or if that doesn't work try talking more and then you will start getting used to it that you will never be shy again.Trust me I been through this before my friend got me not shy anymore.Try it you will see that it works

Well if you have a question, try writing it down on a piece of paper, then after class reading them off to her.
If she asks you to answer a question, then do so, if you began to get nervous take a deep breath and count backwards from 5 also try talking to your moms friends or something to get used to it.
Ask your friends to play "School" they are the teacher and your the student, try having them ask you questions and you answer them.

the best thing to do is find a girl your age and say hi to her and walk away if she says hi back ask her if she wants to eat lunch together you will ge used to talking to her and if that happens just pretend that the teacher is her

This is just what I suggest. I think it's a problem with your teacher and parents. When I was younger and was too shy to speak to anyone, my teacher tried to best to get to know and befriend me and my parents just encouraged me to make a friend. Today, despite the fact that I still only know the names of about five of my classmates, including my brother and cousin, I have a few amazing friends from my old school and I speak up when spoken to. I suggest being persistant when See More
