I don't think so. And who cares about sexual orientation I mean if your lesbian your still a girl and if your gay your still a boy.

I think people should figure out their sexuality by themselves. Besides that's what the internet is for.

Why don't we students educate our peers? Let's simply create after school groups or clubs for questioning or interested students and teach them about this.

Yes. It's important for kids to know they're not weird or slow. The problem is that too many parents are homophobic, so this will never happen (for our generation).
