Bringing back animals from the dead could go terribly wrong like when the cane toad was brought to Australia

That depends on how you look at it. Yes, it would be great to have many species on display so we could learn more about the past, but there is a reason these animals died off in the first place. They might not survive due to different climate (most dinosaurs wouldn't be okay), some won't have environments to go to, and others might mess up existing environments. See More

People have tried, but it doesn't work. And cloning as it is! Yes, we may be able to clone sheep and other animals now, but it is difficult. Extinct animals would probably be even harder to clone because of lack of DNA and specimens. And bringing back ethics into the equation, would it be wrong of humans to bring back an animal that most likely will not be able See More

It would be awesome to have them come back for future generations to witness things such as the dodo bird, dinosaurs, red wolfs, mammoths, etc, but because the worlds ecosystems have changed dramatically from what they were used to, they'd have no place to go and the cycle would start over again...

Well, actually if you bring back a extinct animal back to life, they might die again because they weather climate has changed from the past. For e.g. Mammoths live in the ice age. If we bring them back, they might not live because the ice is melting due to global warming. Its also not right because it can cause grave danger since dinosours are so big that they See More

This is basically how the debate went down.
Michael: Well if you raised them right they could not attack you.
Me: Michael think about it. How would you like to be in a cage?
Not to mention it might turn out like a realistic jurassic park.
