Okay so my mom always told me to tell the truth. Apparently that only applies when it's convenient for her and her boyfriend. My example for this is: One-time in 4th grade, I was being a punk as little kids would do, that night I wanted to read. My mom and her boyfriend denied that. After taking a lightbulb, well I gotta admit this wasn't smart on my behalf so I threw a fit, which caused my sibling to throw a fit. Well this annoyed boyfriend so he came in with a belt, I was first to knock off the punishment. I sorta put my hand in the way and he swung and swatted my butt, well my finger got busted and bruised (it looked sorta broken as well). The next day I had a finger, swollen to the size of a cheeto puff. Teachers were concerned and asked me what happened. Well I told them the truth. When I told the cops too, mom had to take me home to get an x-ray. She was absolutely peeved. She yelled at me telling me I should have lied about what he did to me. I lost all faith in my mom that day.

@Kitten_Snowflakes Well I am now, being as I am a sophomore in highschool, I just really don't trust me mom a whole lot after that
