I hate how girls act like they have way more problems than guys do, now a few like childbirth, periods, etc. are somewhat something I could understand, but girls aren't the only ones who get depressed, angry or anxious, guys have panic attacks too, guys can have some type of mental disorder too, guys get a lot of pressure too. They get a lot of pressure about their future, being short, etc. they just don't bitch about it as often as us females do.

If you're below eighteen and dating someone more than three years older than you, then that's pedophilia. It's understandable if you're dating them and you're legally an adult. My dad is literally more than five years older than my mom is but their adults. Because if you're a teen and doing that shit then that's f*cked up.

People in the LGBT/allies say they want to be treated like everyone else but why is their so much emphasis put on something when theirs a gay, lesbian or whatever else (even though those are literally the only type of couples that exist besides straight couples) couple in a book or on TV the LGBT community makes a big deal out of it. We're slowly being accepted but if we make a big ass deal out of anything that is even remotely related to LGBT rights then that only makes everyone See More in it considered more of a minority. Gay and lesbian couples should be treated just like any normal straight couple by both the LGBT community and straight people. It's okay to be happy that we're slowly being accepted but it's not okay when we're going against our own cause to be accepted. The protests and parades should continue, but it shouldn't be made such a huge deal out of. Theirs a way to do everything. Being gay, trans, lesbian, etc. should be definitely be a characteristic that makes you unique but it shouldn't be apart of your whole personality. When some people see it getting some attention they even pretend to be certain sexualities just to seem "weird".

s.e hinton is allowed to potray her characters in the way she wants, just like her fans can. which is why you can think a certain two like each other romantically and she can think they're not gay.

but i don't think it was okay for her to be saying johnny was white (even tho he was played by someone who's half italian and greek in the movie) or to make some remarks that sounded homophobic, or for her to be so shitty to her fans
