For a better Qfeast (4) - Choose the correct visibility (Public | Profile | Hidden)
A crucial setting is the visibility level for your your quiz, story, poll, question, page. There are three possible visibility levels:
1) PUBLIC:
- The quiz, story, question, poll or page will be displayed on the main page of Qfeast (so will be searchable by others) and your profile pages (like your Wall, "Created Quizzes", "Asked Questions", and so on)
- Your followers will get notified when See More you publish something having "public" visibility
- Best for general audience
2) PROFILE:
- The quiz, story, question, poll or page will be displayed ONLY on your profile pages (like your Wall, "Created Quizzes", "Asked Questions", and so on)
- Your followers will get notified when you publish something having "profile" visibility
- Best choice if you intend to tell something very particular about your person, family, items.
3) HIDDEN:
- The quiz, story, question, poll or page will be visible ONLY TO YOU on some of your profile pages like "Created Quizzes", "Asked Questions" and so on. Other users will not be able too see them.
- Each item will have a random generated address. After you publish the quiz, story, question, poll or page you can take it from your - browser and communicate it to CERTAIN PERSONS
- Nobody will get notified when you publish the question
- Best choice if you want that only certain people to have access to the respective item (like your colleagues, family, close friends)
Examples:
- A quiz about your person ( "about me" ), items, family, pets -> always PROFILE
- Question about your person, items, family, pets? -> always PROFILE
- Writing your hidden diary (story) -> always PROFILE
- A poll about your person, items, family, pets -> always PROFILE
- A page for a very small group of persons (< 50 persons)? -> always PROFILE

For a better Qfeast (3) - Don't duplicate
Whenever you create a poll, ask a question or create a page pay attention to the small auto complete panel, under the text box, that shows you potential duplicates
To prevent your poll, question or page from being flagged and possibly removed, avoid adding items that are duplicates of another one (or very similar)

@PrincessLunaFan As already said in the post this rules is applicable ONLY to polls, questions and pages. Only these items displays the respective auto complete panel for listing potential duplicates.
The quizzes are NOT affected, so your quiz work will not be lost due to some unintentional question duplication.

For a better Qfeast (2) - Read the Guidelines & Rules
All new published quizzes, stories, questions, polls and pages are subjected to a "minimum quality" filter that checks for some basic indicators of a good, not childish content.

The material suitable for <13 year old audience is not allowed on the public areas (e.g. having "public" visibility ).

1) The "tag", "tagged by" like stories are not allowed on the public areas, as practically are not valid stories/ or some are low quality. These stories will most likely be deleted (or marked as profile)

DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT? THOSE PAGES ARE WHERE I MADE MOST OF MY FRIENDS ON HERE. NOW THEY'RE GONE FOREVER. AND THEY TAKE AGES TO REBUILD. STOP MAKING THIS SITE $#!@ BY CONTROLLING IT LIKE A SCHOOL, WHERE NO FUN IS ALLOWED.

Could you implement a starred option? So like if you make a page and comment rules or something important you can star it (creators only) so it stays at the top of the page always? This could also work for photos?

@blackcat123 The first item is highlighted (grayed) by default, so when you press Enter, this item will be visited. Try to "click" another item on the search results and see if it works for you

@mentions (people tagging) is up and running! Try it while writing a new post, comment or answer.
Just type the @ symbol and then continue typing the name of the person participating the conversation.
As you type, Qfeast will show a drop-down list of suggested users. The drop down is smart, it will update with increasingly accurate suggestions the further you type.
And, of course, the @mentioned users will be notified about

@CrystalDiamond2323 . The @mentions notifications work only for the persons that are already in the conversation.
So you cannot "call" or "notify" somebody writing new comments, if the respective person hasn't any comment before you.
Your followers will see in their news feed page that your story just updated.

@Parabolic That small issue usually appears when you have multiple browser tabs opened and your are chatting. Please keep only one browser tab opened when you chat (until we will provide a fix).

Hello everyone!
We just updated the comment and notifications. There are lots of improvements:
- you can now reply to other comments
- you can edit your own comments (click the small options arrow, top-right of the comment)
- the notification settings has been simplified (from 30 options to only 7) [Settings] -> [Notifications]
- deleting comments and posts will be faster as the confirmation popup has been removed (click the small options arrow, top-right of the comment)
- there See More you can find new options to configure when you want to be notified:
> when your comments are replied
> when someone comments a thread that you participate on (so you do not need to subscribe all the time, when you comment something)

We know that some of you might get confused at first sight by the new comment order, but don't shoot, we just standardize it across all pages. So, similar to the most popular discussions framework around, the latest comment/post will be placed at the top of the conversation by default

We just added a small feature to the desktop/tablet version:
You can now select multiple categories of quizzes, stories, questions, poll, pages and browse them.
Just click on the input labeled "Categories" (top-right) and select preferred categories.

We have listened to your feedback, and we're announcing a bunch of improvements!
The big "profile" hovering menu has been replaced with just a simple link "me" which points to your profile (and we will stick to this, no more changes for a while).
Also, we added a new functionality:
Each quiz, story, question, poll or page will have 3 types of "visibility":
- PUBLIC (as before, the quiz, story, question, poll or page will be published on the main page, categories and wall) See More
- PROFILE (your quiz, story, question, poll or page will be published only on your wall). This is the best choice if you want to compose or ask something related to your person, friends, family and so on. Your followers will get notified in their news feed.

- New validation rules have been added to automatically detect and block spam while a comment or post is written
- Also, excessive capitalization and repetitive characters will be not allowed anymore while commenting or posting, so from now on, mostly anything should look a lot more "clean" and "pro"
- We increased a little bit the font size for the desktop and tablet version. Please tell us what do you think about the new font size

Great News!
6 new notification types are now available. From now on, you can be notified when:
- you are followed by someone
- your quizzes are added to favorites
- your stories are added to favorites
- your questions are marked as starred
- your polls are marked as starred See More
- someone subscribes a page where you are member
If necessary, you can customize which notification types you want to receive at:
[Settings] -> [Notifications] then select [Instant Notifications] tab

You will not be able to set your username back to the previous value, as there is no way you can change it accidentally (since you need to confirm the username change with your password).
