I love how this music, as gross as it is, goes with the theme of the dungeon. The drums represent the heartbeat, and the croaking and growling sounds simulate the feeling evening inside of a living creature. The music part of the song represents a lingering anxiety by building tension that never lets up. If they were trying to simulate how both Link and the fish felt, I think they did good.
