I'm just really annoyed. The Maze Runner film has just come out. I was a fan of the books right from the start. And now a load of people are suddenly reading it and are like "Ooh I'm such a big fan of the Maze Runner blah blah blah".

I've read this interesting quote,
"No one who writes fanfiction can write the characters IC. Only the author can do that. Fanfictions are always going to be OOC."
That makes sense. But the point of fanfiction ISN'T to make the characters IC. It's to make them so the readers can relate and understand.
