OH MY GOD ITS BEEN AN INSANE DAY AND ITS ONLY 7:20
Ok so Im woken up by a string of texts from one of the twins, Ava. The other is Audren. She is politely and yet very forcefully requesting that I bring her a white blouse, because she was already on the bus and forgot that it was band picture day. Their teacher is very strict and has an accompanying strict dress code. I politely agreed, until i realized that the only dress blouse I have is seethrough. Ava chose the perfect day See More to wear a bright pink bra, so i offered that i bring a white undershirt. She agreed, then I realized I threw them all away because they were too small. Ava's having a fit, and I find a light grey undershirt, which she accepts. Then in the midst of the hassle of finding the undershirt, Audren, the other twin, texts me that she needs black leggings. I agree, but then realize the only pair of leggings i have are covered in fur from my sweater. They'll have to do. I grab all the stuff and run downstairs, hoping that I can get to school early and meet them so they can change before homeroom. No such luck. My mom meets me downstairs with news that my dad is running late, stuck in traffic, and wont be here for another 40 minutes. Crap. Ok, fine, ill meet the twins during passing period, no big deal. Then I realize that this is my fourth unexcused tardy, which means, of course, detention. Great. I tell my mom and my confession is followed up by a blank stare and an oblivious "What's detention honey?" I decide not to elaborate too much but my mom gets the point. She offers to write me a fake note excusing my tardy saying that I was sick. MY MOM. MY MOTHER. THE ONE WHO DOESNT LET ME GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT KNOWING WHO WILL BE THERE AND WHO THEIR PARENTS ARE AND WHAT THEY DO AND HOW MUCH THEY MAKE. Ok cool. But see my mom doesn't have the best spelling and grammar, because she moved here from Russia after she finished college. I tell her the basis of what she should write and outline the note. She signs it with great flourish, hands it to me, and runs upstairs to get ready. Everything seems in orde- oh wait no nope. No. She wrote "Feels good enough" instead of "feels well enough." The attendance lady will probably think I wrote the note. Oh well. Ring ring, another text from Ava, announcing she's already pulling up to the school. I shove half a bagel in my mouth and apologize profusely for not getting her the clothes on time. She responds that its fine, and that she'll probably ditch homeroom with Audren. Hold up. My groggy morning brain actually starts making a plan. I tell Ava to hide in the bathroom by the quad, which is on my way to my homeroom. When I get a late slip from the front of the school, Ill be able to sneak into the bathroom, give the clothes to the twins, and make it to my homeroom before the second bell rings. We agree to this plan. Here I am, its 7:50, this took me half an hour to write, still waiting for my dad. Wish me luck.

UPDATE: I get to the school, attendance lady thankfully accepts the note. I check the bathroom that we agreed to meet at SHES NOT THERE. I check EVERY OTHER BATHROOM IN THE SCHOOL, and theyre not anywhere. I wanted to text them, but im not getting any wifi, so I give up and head to my homeroom. I walk in and immediatly my teacher hands me a hall pass and says See More "Go to *the homeroom* some girl named Ava is freaking out" i think OH MY GOD. I sprint to the other side of campus and THEYRE THERE FINALLY. I give them all the clothes and run back. As soon as I return I get several comments that I look like ive been through a tornado. My response was that it was a psycho morning.
