The only thing I don't like about P!ATD's songs is that sometimes the lyrics have bits I really don't have a problem with, but that I'm not sure whether I can sing them without making someone uncomfortable. Like the one I've been listening to. The chorus says "I'm the new cancer" and since cancer's kind of a controversial topic (even just the word) I don't know if I can sing it without offending someone...

P!ATD songs, like all songs, are a form of art. If someone gets offended by someone else's art, it's their problem not yours. But it doesn't make sense to me that someone would get offended by the word "cancer", it's more sensitive than controversial. The way that Brendon wanted to use it was metaphorical. Don't worry to much because there's a bunch more songs See More that actually have trigger happy lyrics in them.

You can't say horseshoe isn't a gender because somebody gets offended, so you can't worry too much about one word if you have to worry about everything, today I bet if I said hi to somebody they would be triggered, some people are triggered by my existance so I figure they need to at least toughen up a bit to 've able to withstand words like cancer and other See More stuff
