Vaccines help prevent diseases but you need to realize they're not a cure.
This is not a post saying I'm against vaccines, because you need to vaccinate your children. We're trying to stop a terrible spread of diseases, however you can't treat them like a cure. They're not cures. Just because you get the vaccination does not mean you won't get the disease it's preventing.
