Oh my god I can't decide which type of relationship interpretation I like the most with Peter and Tony

Everytime I see an author on the Internet end their story with a cliffhanger and go "OK guys! Leave your theories about what you think will happen next in the comments ???? It's going to be a great chapter tomorrow. I have it planned out already like totally !" I always wonder if they're doing the same thing I used to do, taking the best theory and using it to start writing because they're low on ideas. Not that it's a bad thing, I just think it's so funny and cute because I See More find it relatable to this day

So here is how this guy I used to know tried and failed to kill his wife:
He worked in the Navy and his job was to recruit people. (Or very close to that, from what I understood as a kid.)
After my family moved to Asia, he went to New York with his second wife.
At some point, for some reason, he told a girl that he was about to recruit that he was actually going to kill his wife.
She went to the police and warned them about everything he said.
The man tried to find somebody See More that would kill his wife for money.
Guess who he hired. An undercover cop.
Then he was arrested for attempted murder.
