Researchers have found that house cats are some of the most prolific hunters of all species. For anyone who has been around a fiesty house cat - you know how they can take great risks and find great rewards. However they are also very easily distracted animals. They often fall for the same trick over and over again, and don't remember the things they learned during their previous adventure.

If you are a house cat you probably have a more playful personality. Language acquisition can be fun to you, which is a big plus because fun usually breeds confidence and risk taking. However, you might find that you are easily distracted, that longer lessons and conversations become boring to you. You might be the one in the group who takes things from being playful and fun to absolutely not productive. You might also have a hard time remembering lessons you've learned, specifically grammar. Things are much more off the cuff for you and research can be cumbersome. You might try journaling and note taking while you are going through lessons or conversations. It doesn't have to be anything too intense, but with each lesson write down at least a few questions or tricks you learned. Try to review those notes even for a few seconds a day to help you keep things fresh. You might find that you annoy more logical language learners, but you're probably good for them as you'll encourage them to have more fun and take more risks. Try to give to them as much as they give to you.
