Vent: verbal abuse

I am so going to get lectured and abused-
I spend hours cleaning and as soon as I'm done my dad literally picks for things to lecture me on usually saying "oh you missed this, and this, and this-" and oftentimes complains like "I told you to do this!!" When he never even mentioned it.

He also raises his voice a lot and insults us, borderline cussing us out if we say we tried.
What's worse is my mom left, so I know if he's in anything but a good mood he's gonna See More yell at me.

It's weird, he forces us to clean like crazy, verbally abuses us (I heard him yell at my brother not long ago) gives literally 0 praise, grounds us when we disagree even the SLIGHTEST of what he's saying-
And yet he says we don't appreciate him.

Ahhhhhh I feel so bad qwq
I like venting repeatedly about stuff
But then afterwards I feel bad I spammed your guys newsfeed with my issues when you clearly have your own-
I need a therapist man

Okay lol so i first came out as genderfluid to my parents awhile ago, and then Transgender a bit more recently. But I told my dad my correct pronouns like 2-3 months ago

Still won't use them no matter how many times people correct him

I'm worried to let my one friend hang out at my house while my dad's over cause they know about what he did to me over the years and also how he constantly misgenders me.
My friend is badass- and hates when ppl hurt me (Same in reverse about the See More hurting thing)

THEY HAVE SAID. MULTIPLE TIMES. THEY WILL KICK MY DADS ASS IF HE MISGENDERS ME.

I stayed up to 1:30 yet I still wake up at 8
Why? Because my sleep schedule is broken

Well, now my heads jerking and twitching a bit. Guess I have a undiagnosed mental illness (which I totally suspected of)

Looking back through my photos I can see the exact moment when me and my friend, well, became friends lol
Ever since the first day we met, we got along really well. Heck ever since the first day we saw eachother we thought the other was cool-
^w^ I'm glad this year I found a person who will stay by my side, I don't have many irl friends like that (besides ofc mouse)

My new years resolutions (so far)
-be true to myself as an artist
-Be more comfortable in my own body (dysphoria)
-help others (every year I do this) and do at least one public act of kindness

My new years resolutions from 2020 (since I had non last year)
-Be happy

I changed-

I think this year I'm going to try and be more true to myself as an artist.
For years I've been trying to perfect my art to look good, so others will like it and be proud of me
But I often get frustrated and leave a bunch of unfinished drawings as I try to get that "perfect angle" or when I "mess up something"
But from painting my vent paintings I realized that instead of trying to make a coherent shape, just painting your feelings and colors makes it a lot more freeing and for See More once I don't feel like I could have changed anything about it.

So I'm going to try and just paint more true to myself, and enjoy it, rather then go for the perfection I look for in my minds eye.

At least in my paintings anyways
