Vent/questioning
The weird thing is a part of me does love my dad
He's not as abusive as he was before
But I can never trust him, and I don't like being near him oftentimes
Because I gave him a million chances not to hurt me. He would give us candy and stuff in reward for doing our chores, but then he would turn around and pick at me until I finally argue back, then use it as a chance to emotionally abuse me.
His gaslighting, disrespect, and emotional abuse is making it impossible See More to fully trust him again, or believe he will do no harm.
That's why I don't really like it when he comes home, even if he doesn't do much. Because I'm scared that he might take his anger out on me.
Yet I still act like I care about him a ton so he doesn't get hurt himself.
Am I a good son..?

Sadly, yes you are a good son. A good son who cares about his father. He doesn’t deserve it, yet you give it to him...you are good.

I got misgendered 4 times just by walking to the room I'll have my appointment in
I just kind of went quiet and looked away.
They kept saying (Cause I was with my mom) "you girls-" "how are you girls-" "she seems okay"
My mom saw my discomfort and told my doctor after the nurse had left lol, my doctor corrected herself and we talked about gender identity for a bit @Rosie_rikku
