The terms "First World" and "Third World" originated during the Cold War. During that time, "First World" was America and its allies, "Second World" was the Soviet Union, and "Third World" was made up of all of those neutral countries -- most of which weren't involved simply because they didn't have the money or power to do anything worthwhile in the wars. When the Cold War ended, the term "Second World" kind of just disappeared, and all of the rich and powerful countries See More started referring to themselves as "First World" and the rest of the world as "Third World."

I'm not sure whether or not Ishould publish it on Qfeast, though. I'm either going to incorporate the main idea into The One (which I'm going to publish; I really actually don't like Paradox >.< ) or publish it as its own novella. I'm not sure.... *sighs* SO MANY DECISIONS
